Fiber-Optic Communication Lines

Laying optical backbones, precision core-alignment splicing, ODF box setups, and link loss certification.

Fiber-Optic Laying & Splicing Works

Fiber links are immune to electromagnetic noise, making them ideal for heavy industrial plants. We deploy optical lines and splice fiber cores.

  • Installing fiber cables in trays, conduits, underground ducts, and aerial spans.
  • Core-alignment splicing of single-mode and multi-mode fibers using advanced splicers.
  • Setting up Optical Distribution Frames (ODF), fiber patch panels, and splice trays.

Optical Time-Domain Reflectometry (OTDR)

Every spliced joint must be verified for signal attenuation. We measure the optical link budget and find defects using calibrated OTDR instruments.

  • Running OTDR checks at 1310nm and 1550nm wavelengths.
  • Locating macro-bends, connector losses, and poor splices in the fiber run.
  • Compiling test booklets containing OTDR plots and link performance data.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the maximum allowed attenuation per splice?
Standard specifications require loss below 0.05 - 0.1 dB per splice. We aim for near-zero loss on all terminations.
Can you troubleshoot an existing dark fiber link?
Yes, we connect our OTDR to identify the exact distance to a bend, pinch, or physical break in the cable.
Do you supply fiber patch cords and pigtails?
Yes, we supply certified LC/SC/FC patch cords, pigtails, and industrial media converters matching target speeds.
